Summary

As colder weather approached, a homeowner in Anacortes asked us to prepare their sprinkler system for winter. Protecting irrigation lines before freezing temperatures hit can prevent serious damage and avoid major repairs.

The Work

Shut off the double-check assembly to block water flow into the system
Turned off the irrigation clock
Used compressed air to clear out all remaining water from the pipes and sprinkler heads

The Outcome

The sprinkler system is now ready for winter. By removing all water from the lines and components, we helped protect the system from freeze-thaw damage, so the garden stays healthy and the system lasts longer.
