Summary

As colder weather approached in Mount Vernon, we were called to prepare a home's sprinkler system for winter. The goal was to prevent freeze damage and avoid costly repairs in the spring.

The Work

Shut off the double-check assembly and irrigation clock
Used a portable air compressor to expel water from the sprinkler lines
Cleared all residual water from sprinkler heads
Completed a full winterization of the system

The Outcome

Now, this irrigation system is set for the season ahead. All water has been removed, so the pipes and heads are protected from freezing. The homeowner can feel confident that their system will be ready to go next spring.
